RISK & INSURANCE
The Risk and Insurance course provides acceptance and exemptions from the Associateship of Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) programme.
The Risk and Insurance course is designed for students to have an acceptable level of knowledge, understanding and application of Risk and Insurance. Students will have an appreciation of the nature of risk, risk assessment techniques and ways in which risk are measured.

– The Nature of Risk and Uncertainty
– Risk Assessment Techniques
– Ways in which Risk is Measured
– The Nature of Insurance
– The Structure of the Insurance Market
– The Way Insurance Operates

Insurance Personnel – Working in insurance and non-insurance capacities.
Career in Insurance – Persons hoping to pursue a career in insurance.

Career Placement – Persons interested in pursuing the Associateship of Chartered Insurance Institute designation.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
HIGH SCHOOL LEAVERS:
Applicants must have passes in at least four (4) subjects at the GCE Ordinary Level or CXC General Proficiency in English Language, Mathematics (or a Mathematical subject) and any other three (3) subjects.
CHANGE OF CAREER & JOB EXPERIENCE:
Twenty-five (25) yeas of age have passes in GCE/CXC/CSEC Mathematics and English Language or a Mathematical subject.
